The murder of a new neighbor in a shower stall at the Clubhouse has detective Vinder baffled. The man seems to have little in his past and there is no apparent motive. Slowly, some facts appear as Vinder questions members of a Men's Dinner Club. They all have strong links to New York City which prompts hime to unravel the mystery of who the victim really was. The Sleuths help in the final stages when the motive rises from the past and the murderer is identified. Part of this story had been suggested by a friend AFS student, Craig Norton, a fan of murder mystery books. He will be missed.
